4. YouTube (iPhone/iPod Touch, Free)
This is included with any iPhone or iPod Touch so no download is necessary from the iTunes Store. Most of my boys free time is spent watching Guitar Hero clips that other kids have posted on YouTube showing them performing difficult songs. My girls love to search for silly animal tricks. Videos of Disney songs are also enjoyed by girls.
5. Disney Channel Cover Styler (Disney, Free)
This allows your daughter to take a picture of her or her friends and then place those pictures into a mock magazine cover making her the star of some of Disney Channel's favorite shows like Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place. Its surprising Disney hasn't jumped into the App store with more apps for kids, they only have a couple at the moment but this one is entertaining.

6. Kids Math Fun - First Grade (NCS Partners, $1.99)
My six year old son used this app when he started the 1st grade to help him with understanding the differences between adding and subtracting. The app can be used as a competition between kids as it keeps score so each kid will try to out score the other one using math equations. They also make math app games from kindergarden through fourth grade levels.
